Introduction

Intel® Math Kernel Library (Intel® MKL) provides a complete set of BLAS and LAPACK routines as well as a set of fast Fourier transforms, and vectorized math and random number generation functions, all highly optimized for the latest Intel processors. For a complete description of MKL functionality please refer to Intel® Math Kernel Library Documentation.

If you are compiling code that needs BLAS, LAPACK, you should modify your compiler linking options as shown below.

Instructions are different for each of our systems Intel-based systems

Each of our Intel-based systems have slightly different instructions due to differences in compiler versions.  Please follow the instructions associated with the system you are using.

DAVinCI:

Before you can use the MKL, make sure to load the imkl module. The module spider command will provide a list of possible dependencies for loakding imkl.
