The network maintenance in BioScience Research Collaborative 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor is complete.  Please contact the Help Desk (x4357) if you have any connectivity issues. Machines may need a reboot to restore proper connectivity.
The planned network maintenance for BioScience Research Collaborative will begin at 5:30am. This will affect 1st, 2nd and 4th floor network connectivity.

Campus Wide Power Blip
There was a campus wide power blip affecting wired and wireless network services. Network Management is monitoring for services to return.
OIT will be performing maintenance on some network traffic management equipment beginning at 7:00am on Saturday morning August 22. In order to perform some necessary maintenance before the start of the academic semester, three OIT file storage services (storage.rice.edu, rnas.rice.edu, and crate.rice.edu) will be briefly off-line this Friday starting at 10:00pm. Campus Power Blip
The Rice University Campus experienced a power blip.  Some network services will be impacted and will reset.  OIT/Networking and Technical Services will monitor and deploy resources for any lasting outages.  You may need to reboot your networked device as a result.  Thank you for your understanding.

At 5:00 PM on Thursday, June 18, the Office of Information Technology will be upgrading Proofpoint, which guards against the accidental loss of sensitive and confidential Rice data contained in outbound Ricemail messages.   IMPACT: We anticipate no impact on outbound Ricemail for Rice faculty, staff and graduate students. Rice undergraduate students are unaffected because their mail system is hosted externally, by Google.   Updates will be posted online: it.rice.edu.
