The network device at RCC is down. Technical Services is enroute to investigate. - Danny Eaton (x5233, dannyeaton@rice.edu)

The repair to UPS-A has been completed. Power has been restored to normal operating configuration.

One of the three UPS battery protection systems in the data center is experiencing a significant issue that is preventing it from transferring properly. In this state, it cannot provide protection from utility power disruptions. In order to repair the unit, we will be shutting down UPS-A at 5:30 for about 15 minutes. The other two systems (UPS-B and UPS-C) will not be affected. Systems that use A/B or A/C will lose one leg of power, but should remain on-line.

BlueGene-P is not redundantly powered, so it is being shutdown.

Tonight's maintenance on vmstorage 3 and 4 has been completed.
