How to add a second device to your Duo Authentication

Adding a second device to your Duo Authentication is helpful in the event your primary device is not available.

1. Log into https://mynetid.rice.edu
   
   
   
2. Click Add a new device.
   
   
   
   
3. Complete the two-factor authentication.
   
   
4. Proceed with the device enrollment process.  For example, to add a landline as a second phone number.  Select Landline and click Continue.
   
   
   
   
5. Enter and confirm the second phone number, and click Continue.
   
   
   
   
6. Select the device you would like to be the default.  You may want to select "automatically send this device a Duo Push" in the "When I log in" pull down menu if this is a mobile device you will be using most often with Duo.  Click Save
